Video: Kyle Kuzma Reveals What Fans Don’t Know About LeBron James
- Updated: April 16, 2020
LeBron James is one of the most open NBA stars currently in the league, regularly letting fans take a peak into his life away from the NBA court.
With that being said, there are some things that few people know about.
Luckily, fans can depend on Los Angeles Lakers youngster Kyle Kuzma to reveal what fans don’t know about the four-time MVP.
“He’s just a good dude,” Kuzma said. “You see everything that he does and I mean it’s not really fake. He cares about his teammates. He’s always hitting the group chat with things, even now, even when we’re not playing. He’s a real person you can talk to anytime about situations.
“Especially for me just being a young player, you know kind of idolizing him when I’m growing up as one of my favorite players. Being able to play with him and really see what he does on a daily basis, really just pick things from him. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. That’s how I kind of look at it outside of just him being my friend and one of the greatest basketball players.”
For a brief moment near the end of Kuzma’s incredible description of James, it appeared as though the Lakers forward was getting slightly emotional.
Surely, many young NBA players would get a bit emotional when thinking about actually playing alongside the three-time champ.
For much of the last two decades, James has personified basketball.
His genius on the court has only been matched by his passion for the game. On top of that, he has helped harbor in a new era of players having power to control their own destinies in terms of where they play and who they play with.
Clearly, it has been quite inspiring for Kuzma to play alongside one of his childhood heroes.
The only thing that would make the experience even sweeter for Kuzma would likely be winning a title alongside James.
