The NBA suspended the 2019-20 season after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert contracted the coronavirus back in March.
In the days after the league announced the momentous decision, several players around the association tested positive for the deadly virus.
In fact, at least two players on the Lakers tested positive for the coronavirus.
As a result, the league has been extremely scrupulous about potentially starting the season again. Nonetheless, the NBA has made strides by allowing players to conduct individual workouts at their respective facilities.
The NBA is hopeful more than half of the league will open up their practice facilities by Monday. However, there is no set timeline or decision on when the league will resume the 2019-20 season.
