Report: Lakers Offer Updated Injury Report for Saturday’s Game vs. Rockets
- Updated: January 18, 2020
The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Houston Rockets on Saturday evening, with an updated injury report offering insight into which players will be available for the Purple and Gold.
The Lakers say that Rajon Rondo (fractured right ring finger) is out tonight. Alex Caruso has been upgraded from probable to available to play. Anthony Davis remains questionable.

Unfortunately, it looks quite possible that Anthony Davis will miss the Lakers’ game on Saturday. While all news regarding his recovery from a bone bruise has been positive, Davis himself also admitted that the Lakers’ recent success has allowed him to take his time to return.
That being said, the Lakers did lose their first game since Davis’ injury occurred earlier this week. That loss came in a 119-118 stunner.
Perhaps that loss will offer Davis enough motivation to play through whatever lingering discomfort he is dealing with.
Still, considering the Rockets have lost three of their last four contests, it’s quite possible that the Lakers will be able to get the win whether Davis plays or not.
