Report: Andre Iguodala ‘Likely’ to Join Los Angeles Lakers After Memphis Grizzlies Buyout
- Updated: July 1, 2019

After a chaotic start to the NBA’s 2019 free-agency period, it seems like things are only getting started.
That’s because according to FS1’s Chris Broussard, the Los Angeles Lakers are highly likely to add superstar Kawhi Leonard and former Golden State Warriors small forward Andre Iguodala to their star-studded duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, with both forward Danny Green and point guard Seth Curry in the realm of possibility as well.
Kawhi to Lakers rumblings getting stronger & stronger. Iguodala likely to join Lakers after Memphis buyout. Danny Green & Seth Curry in Lakers’ scope. Lakers offered Rondo vet minimum & 24 hours to decide. Lakers on verge of building powerhouse.

Iguodala was recently traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, but will likely be bought out, making him an unrestricted free agent.
It was also reported that free agent point guard Rajon Rondo has been offered the veteran’s minimum and has 24 hours to decide if he wants to continue his journey with the Lakers or take a chance and seek a better deal elsewhere.
Let the games begin.
