Video: LeBron James Offers to Hook Damian Lillard Up With Alcohol for Quarantine
- Updated: April 12, 2020
People all over the world are finding new ways to stay busy amidst self-isolation and quarantine mandates to help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
NBA stars LeBron James and Damian Lillard have turned to enjoying alcohol as one of the many ways to pass the time.
In fact, James recently took to Instagram to assure Lillard that he has the hookup when it comes to fine wine if the Portland Trail Blazers star should need any.
“I’m getting old, I’ve got to get off that dark,” Lillard told James while the two were chatting on Instagram Live.
The Los Angeles Lakers star then made sure that Lillard knew he could call on him if he was interested in stocking up his wine cellar.
“Well, let me know if you need some labels,” James. “I can send you some names and stuff to put into your cellar, put into your crib, if you want to try.”
Over the last few seasons, collecting and drinking fine wine has become something of a hobby for a number of NBA stars. James is partially responsible for starting the trend.
A lack of NBA basketball has probably offered James some extra time to enjoy his favorite bottles.
Perhaps next time James and Lillard hop on Instagram Live during quarantine, they’ll be virtually sharing one of James’ favorite bottles of wine.
