Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James may have an on-court rivalry with Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, but James is continuing to show that the league is a brotherhood after sending his well wishes to Curry, who recently suffered a serious injury.

During the third quarter of the Warriors’ game against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Curry was going for a layup when he collided with Suns center Aaron Baynes. Curry fell hard and landed awkwardly on his hands to brace himself. Unfortunately, Baynes crashed onto him, with Curry’s hands taking the brunt of the fall.

Curry immediately grimaced in pain and headed to the locker room. The Warriors later announced that he had suffered a broken left hand.

After learning about the injury, James tweeted his support for Curry.

Before signing with the Lakers in the 2018 offseason, James had a second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers for four seasons. Each of those seasons, he was able to bring the Cavs to the NBA Finals, and every year, it was the Warriors that were standing in their way.

The Warriors took three of those four championships, while James delivered the Cavs’ first title in franchise history in 2016.

This season, James and the Lakers, who last reached the Finals in 2010, are hoping to get back to the league’s grandest stage.
