LeBron James Seen Dominating Against New-Look Lakers
- Updated: September 9, 2019
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has seemingly been as motivated as ever all offseason long.
From hitting the gym at the crack of dawn to speaking directly to his doubters via social media, it is clear that he has heard the ample criticism directed his way.
Well, it looks like all that motivation has paid off.
In a recent video taken of James playing with a number of his Lakers teammates in the team’s facility, the four-time MVP seems to be in top form.

As the video clearly shows, James not only looks quick off the dribble, but his shot looks deadly as well.
Last season, James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. That being said, he played in just 55 games due to injury, a career low. To make matters worse, he and the Lakers missed the postseason.
This season, a similar outcome will be considered an even greater calamity. That is especially due to the fact that James is no longer the only star donning the Purple and Gold after the Lakers traded for big man Anthony Davis earlier this summer.
If James and Davis are able to stay healthy, the sky truly is the limit for the Lakers. If they aren’t, it’s possible that the Lakers could be on the verge of another very long campaign.
