LeBron James Reminisces on Larry Bird’s ‘Crazy Skills,’ Pays Him Ultimate Compliment via Social Media

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James showed Boston Celtics icon Larry Bird some major love on Sunday.
The star small forward offered a tribute to the NBA legend after SportsCenter’s Instagram page published a video of some of Bird’s career highlights.
Bird, who played for the Celtics for his entire career, is considered to be one of the best forwards in NBA history.
The 6-foot-9 pro averaged 24.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists over the course of his career. Furthermore, he played a crucial role in helping the Celtics capture three championships in the 1980s.
The versatile forward was one of the league’s early all-around superstars. In fact, James offered his take that Bird’s talents would have made him a star in any era.
Considered one of the most clutch players to ever play, Bird was often known to talk incredible amounts of trash to his opponents.
In a day and age where fans are constantly comparing NBA legends’ resumes and eras, it’s phenomenal to see James pay such respect to an all-time great.
