NBA stars all over the league have been honoring Los Angeles Lakers Legend Kobe Bryant in various ways since his tragic passing on Sunday.
Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis seem to be taking that to the next level.
According to each player’s social media activity on Thursday, it looks as though the superstar teammates are getting tattoos to honor the late great Lakers guard.
Since Bryant’s death, both Davis and James have shared messages about what Bryant meant to them and the game of basketball.
James especially has assumed a role of leadership since the tragic event, going so far as to say that he is willing to carry the Lakers through the difficult time.
It is hard to overstate the reactions that NBA players have had since Bryant’s death. Moments of silence have been commonplace in NBA arenas over the past few days.
Beyond that, a number of players have already changed their jersey numbers to honor Bryant.
It’s become abundantly clear just how much Bryant meant to each and every player who puts on an NBA jersey night in and night out.
As for Davis and James, they’ll now be tasked with not only winning a title for the Lakers, but also doing it to honor the memory of one of the organization’s most beloved figures.
