Colin Cowherd says LeBron James doesn’t get along with Kyle Kuzma

It appears Los Angles Lakers superstar LeBron James doesn’t get along with forward Kyle Kuzma.

According to Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd, James isn’t fond of the University of Utah product.

“The Lakers think they have a shot at him (Damian Lillard),” Cowherd recently said on his podcast. “That’s sort of Los Angeles delusion. The Los Angeles Lakers have players, KCP (Kentavious Caldwell-Pope) is a solid player, hot and cold, not what Portland wants. Kyle Kuzma — LeBron doesn’t get along with him. They’d love to move him. He’s kind of expensive. It’s not the kind of contract you can’t move, but it’s not necessarily team-friendly considering he disappears often in big spots for the Lakers.”

Kuzma, 25, had a very disappointing 2021 postseason.

Although Kuzma had the opportunity to step up with big man Anthony Davis sidelined to injury, he did not rise to the occasion in the team’s first-round series against the Phoenix Suns. In fact, he put up some of the worst numbers of his career.

The 6-foot-10 pro gathered just 6.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in the 2021 playoffs. In addition, he shot an awful 29.2 percent from the field and 17.4 percent from downtown in the postseason.

Of course, James could be upset at the lack of production on the basketball court from Kuzma.

However, the two have publicly portrayed an amicable and supportive relationship for the most part. The 36-year-old has raved about the youngster on multiple occasions.
