Brandon Ingram Posts Strong Message to Pelicans Before Game vs. Lakers
- Updated: November 26, 2019
Brandon Ingram has a lot to prove in Wednesday’s game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Lakers player has started to blossom into a full-fledged star this season, and it now seems quite apparent that he wants to prove to his former team that it made a mistake in shipping him away.
Ingram took to Instagram right after the Pelicans’ Tuesday practice came to an end and published a picture to Instagram with a clear message.
It’s clear that Ingram knows what is at stake in the upcoming game.
From last season to this season, Ingram has turned from a promising youngster, who averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, into an All-Star caliber player, who is currently averaging 26.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest.
It’s an incredible transformation, and one that very likely would not have happened had he not been traded to the Pelicans.
Despite that, Ingram clearly wants to show out in front of his former team.
While the 6-11 Pelicans have been something of a disappointment so far this season, there’s little doubt that tomorrow’s contest is going to be a serious battle.
