Although the NBA season has been put on pause due to the novel coronavirus, some players are still barking and igniting drama.
During an NBA 2K20 game telecast on Friday, Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley made sure to throw some shade at Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

“Video game James, he’s got some years on him now,” Beverley quipped. “He can’t just be jumping all over the rim now.”
Beverley, 31, is notorious around the league for being a pest and trash-talker.
As a matter of fact, the defensive stalwart recently claimed that there is no challenge guarding James.
While he was likely just trying to get under the skin of the four-time MVP, the ridiculous statement just made Beverley look foolish.
James, 35, was in the middle of a superb 2019-20 campaign.
He had been averaging 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.9 rebounds per contest this season. In addition, James’ strong play had led the Lakers to the second-best record in the entire association.
The Lakers and Clippers are expected to meet in the playoffs as they are the top two teams in the Western Conference.
Now, it appears James will have some additional motivation to dominate the Clippers thanks to Beverley.
