The ways in which fans all over the world have honored Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant have been truly inspiring.
Since his tragic death just over a week ago, countless fans have expressed their love for the L.A. icon in seemingly every way imaginable.
Over the weekend, a new form of dedication was seen when one man decided to run a half marathon while wearing Bryant’s No. 24 jersey and dribbling a basketball.
He accomplished the impressive feat at the annual Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The man in the video was not the only person honoring Bryant, his daughter Gianna and the other seven victims who died in a tragic helicopter crash late last month.
Event organizer Dan Cruz told KTLA that countdowns for the races all started at eight seconds to honor the No. 8 jersey Bryant wore early in his Lakers career.
Beyond that, there were also two “remembrance miles” during the full marathon at mile eight and mile 24.
As for the fan who dribbled his basketball for the entire 13.1 miles of the half marathon, he not only brought “Kobe” cheers as he ran, but also displayed the enduring Mamba mentality that Bryant preached throughout his NBA career.
