Early in the Los Angeles Lakers’ contest against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, Anthony Davis went out of the game with what appeared to be a lower right leg injury.

Davis went out with 9:27 remaining in the first quarter after getting kneed in the back of his calf by a Grizzlies player. He spent some time on the Lakers’ bench getting worked on by the team’s training staff, then left for the locker room.

Davis is coming off a great performance in the NBA All-Star Game this past Sunday. He put up 20 points, nine rebounds, three steals three blocks, and he made the free throw that won the game for Team LeBron.
