Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant are good friends now despite the rocky relationship that existed when the two were teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers

The beef between O’Neal and Dwight Howard, however, is seemingly far from over.

O’Neal was responding to Bryant’s tweet about no longer having any animosity towards his former teammate.

In the process of addressing the issue, the big man showed his feisty side by intentionally misspelling Howard’s first name.

Known for his Superman moniker, O’Neal has likely never forgiven Howard for adopting the same exact nickname for himself. Howard even wore a cape, imitating the Man of Steel during the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Additionally, Howard followed the exact same footsteps of O’Neal when he moved to the Lakers after playing for the Orlando Magic during the first portion of his career. The Magic drafted both players as No. 1 overall picks more than a decade apart.

When asked by TMZ Sports recently what he thought of Howard’s signing with the Lakers, O’Neal responded negatively to the reporter.

“Who?” O’Neal asked. “I don’t know him.”

With Howard now back in a Lakers uniform, O’Neal is probably irked to see him once again playing in the three-time Finals MVP’s old stomping grounds.

This beef between O’Neal and Howard has been going on for several years and there is little hope that the two will ever bury the hatchet anytime soon.
