Kuzma has been at the center of numerous trade rumors in recent weeks. However, with the trade deadline fast approaching, every rumor at this point should be considered a bit more seriously.
In New York, Kuzma could serve as a valuable piece alongside prized rookie R.J. Barrett. Kuzma is averaging 13.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season.
That being said, the question remains as to what the Lakers would ask for in return.
It is unclear if any advanced trade talks between the two teams will occur.
With Kuzma’s days in Los Angeles possibly numbered, the playing time he logs in Tuesday night’s game versus the San Antonio Spurs could serve as an indication of whether or not a deal is in the works.
