LeBron James gave props to Jayson Tatum on social media following their head-to-head matchup at Staples Center on Sunday.

James’ Los Angeles Lakers came away with a 114-112 win against Tatum’s Boston Celtics, adding another classic battle to the franchises’ storied rivalry.

The Celtics forward, who played in his first All-Star Game a week ago, dropped 41 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field, 4-of-7 from 3-point range and 13-of-15 from the free-throw line.

As good as Tatum was on the night, however, James was able to carry the Lakers to victory after nailing a fallaway jumper with 30 seconds left in the game. The Lakers star nearly had a triple-double, notching 29 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.

The shot made up for a missed free throw by James that would have tied the game moments earlier.

The 41 points by Tatum matched his career high.

With the victory against the Celtics, the Lakers tied the season series at 1-1.
