LeBron James and Kobe Bryant Among Most Mentioned on Twitter During ‘The Last Dance’

Following the conclusion of ESPN’s “The Last Dance” documentary, SportsCenter showcased who had trended the most on Twitter during the hit telecast.

Topping the list was unsurprisingly Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who headlined the entire documentary series.

The 10-part series chronicled Jordan’s last season with the Bulls. In addition, it highlighted the six-time champion’s greatest accomplishments over the course of his career in Chicago.

However, the documentary also amplified the debate of which NBA player is the greatest of all time. Therefore, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James naturally came into the spotlight.

While James himself seemed to enjoy the documentary as a fan, the sports world inexorably compared him and Jordan the entire time.

Away from the sharp disagreements, fans and players alike agreed that they wanted to see a film dedicated to Lakers icon Kobe Bryant.

The five-time champion passed away in January in a horrific helicopter accident.

Jordan, James and Bryant are considered three of the greatest basketball players in NBA history.
