The final two episodes of “The Last Dance” aired on ESPN on Sunday evening, and it seemed to reaffirm to fans that Michael Jordan is the greatest NBA player of all time, or at least better than LeBron James.

There has been significant debate about the topic in recent years, with more and more believing that the Akron, Ohio native has surpassed or equaled Jordan when it comes to greatness.

However, according to a new ESPN poll, 73 percent of respondents believe that Jordan is still better than James.

One may expect there to be a generation gap when it comes to this debate, but even among those between the ages 18 and 34, 66 percent picked Jordan over James.

ESPN also polled respondents on who they would pick in 17 individual categories. Jordan won each of them easily.

There should be little surprise that 76 percent picked Jordan to take a game-winning shot. He was known as one of the great closers in league history.

However, what should come as a big surprise is who people thought was a better passer, as 59 percent chose Jordan over James. This is despite the fact that James has a career average of 7.4 assists per game, compared to Jordan’s career average of 5.3 dimes a game.
