LeBron James Daps Up J. Cole During Game vs. New York Knicks
- Updated: January 23, 2020
That stars are out at Madison Square Garden for Wednesday night’s matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.
Midway through the second quarter of competition, James spotted rapper J. Cole in the stands and couldn’t help but show him some respect.
Cole is not just a noted fan of the NBA, he’s also quite the ball player himself. In fact, he has been known to participate in pickup games with NBA stars during the offseason.
He’s certainly one of James’ countless fans as well. He actually referenced the four-time MVP in his breakout 2009 mixtape, “The Warm Up.”
“You looking at LeBron James of the game,” Cole raps. “I could do anything you name.”
On Wednesday night, James and the rest of the Lakers are simply looking to get a win in New York.
Given the Knicks’ 12-32 record on the season, that accomplishment shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve.
