Lakers News: Rajon Rondo Suffers Broken Hand in Game vs. Blazers
- Updated: November 15, 2018
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo will be out for at least a few weeks following an apparent broken hand suffered in Wednesday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Rajon Rondo broke his hand. “He’ll be out a few weeks,” said Walton.

The injury reportedly came after Rondo tried to steal the ball away from Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic in the fourth quarter.
Although the Lakers came away with a 126-117 victory over the Trail Blazers, this is certainly bad news for a team that was on a roll, winning their last four games. Rondo finished his night with two rebounds and three assists.
Backup point guard Lonzo Ball and Svi Mykhailiuk will likely both see increases in playing time.
