According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will be making his return tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing nearly five weeks with a groin injury.

After being listed as out on Wednesday, and doubtful early Thursday, the team decided James was good enough to go in tonight’s matchup against the Clippers.

The Lakers desperately needed some kind of revitalization as they had gone 6-11 in James’ absence and now are on the outside looking in in regards to the playoff hunt.

On the season, James is averaging a team-high 27.3 points to go along with 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists.

The Lakers will try to make a push back into the playoff break as the trade deadline and All-Star break nears in February.
