Lakers News: Anthony Davis and LeBron James Expected to Play Christmas Day vs. Clippers
- Updated: December 24, 2019
Los Angeles Lakers stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both dealing with slight injuries at the moment, but that won’t keep them from suiting up for their team’s highly anticipated game on Christmas Day.
Reporting with @McTen: Stars are aligned for Lakers-Clippers on Christmas Day. Lakers conducted impromptu practice this morning and LeBron James (groin) and Anthony Davis (knee) are expected to play vs. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard at 8 PM ET on ABC.

James missed the Lakers’ last game with a groin injury. The Lakers lost that matchup against the Denver Nuggets, 128-104.
As for Davis, he appeared to injure his knee late in that game. Luckily, it appears that it was nothing serious.
With both their statuses looking good for the game, Lakers fans can now truly look forward to the star-studded matchup.
The last time the Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers faced off this season was on opening night. In that game, the Clippers overpowered the Lakers on their way to a win, 112-102.
James and Davis will surely look to get revenge for that game.
A win would also put an end to their current three-game losing streak, the Lakers’ longest of the 2019-20 season.
