Los Angeles Lakers star big man Anthony Davis has been hobbled by a number of minor injuries so far this season.
Luckily, it looks like he is finally on the road back to 100 percent health.
Heading into Tuesday night’s bout with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Davis told reporters that his injured shoulder is feeling better, and he is overall feeling much better.
Last week, Davis missed a game versus the defending Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors due to a number of lingering injuries.
On Sunday, he played just 28 minutes versus the Atlanta Hawks, marking the first time he played under 30 minutes in a game so far this season.
Turns out, that game off and reduced load seem to have worked wonders. That’s good news for a Lakers team that is looking to hold onto its No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
So far this season, Davis is averaging 24.5 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He’ll surely manage to keep enjoying similar numbers as he returns to full health.
