According to a recent infographic, the Los Angeles Lakers are the most hated NBA team across the U.S. this season.
Upon seeing this, Kyle Kuzma decided to poke some fun at all the haters with a tweet.
Oh y’all big mad!! https://t.co/59y7WX6ai6

Even though he is only in his third season, Kuzma is still the longest tenured member of the Lakers. So he understands that not many fans are fond of the team. According to the data, which tracked over 100,000 geotagged tweets that contained relevant key terms such as “I hate the (insert team),” the Lakers were the most hated in 34 states.
It is no surprise that Kuzma would defend the franchise that drafted and held onto him amid the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade.
Almost every one of the Lakers’ young core, including Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart, were included in the offseason deal over the summer. But Kuzma survived and is still in a Lakers jersey. It is expected that he will blossom into the team’s third star who could complement the LeBron James-Davis duo.
