In the first 16 seasons of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James’ NBA career, he’s been considered to be among the best players ever.
In the opinion of new Lakers teammate Avery Bradley, however, James stands atop the list of legendary players that have played the game.

During Bradley’s lengthy time as a member of the Boston Celtics, he saw clear evidence of just how great James was while playing for both the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers. During that span, James led his teams to three league titles and was named Finals MVP following each of those victories.
The 34-year-old James joined the Lakers last year, but injuries limited him to just 55 games. Yet over the course of his legendary career, he’s been named NBA Most Valuable Player four times, been part of 15 NBA All-Star teams and has led his teams to nine different appearances in the Finals.
The 28-year-old Bradley will join him this year, after being signed as a free agent by the Lakers in July. He’s hoping for a little more stability in his career after playing for four different teams during the past three seasons.
Bradley should help in the Lakers backcourt, bringing per-game career averages of 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 rebounds per game. Similar contributions during the 2019-20 season will help a team that’s seen the injury bug twice even before training camp, with injuries to DeMarcus Cousins and Kyle Kuzma.
