Many know that LeBron James’ oldest son Bronny is a rising high school basketball star. But the Los Angeles Lakers superstar also has another son who has some talent in his own right.
Bryce Maximus James, 12, put a nice move on his defender during a recent game and energized the crowd.
The move and ensuing jumper were somewhat reminiscent of what Michael Jordan did to Bryon Russell at the end of Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals. However, the Bryce James did not push off his defender like Jordan allegedly did on Russell.
Bryce James attends Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Calif., which is about half an hour north of Los Angeles. It’s the same school that his older brother Bronny attends.
Both played last season at Crossroads School, a private K-12 school in Santa Monica, Calif. before transferring to Sierra Canyon for this season.
The youngest James hasn’t gotten the attention that his brother has from some prominent college basketball programs. But if he shows the work ethic and desire of his legendary father, it will only be a matter of time before some Division I schools take notice.
