Ron Harper goes after LeBron yet again: ‘He know how to find me’

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 3 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday night featured another stellar performance from NBA icon LeBron James, and his efforts in the 2026 NBA Playoffs have added another layer to his G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) case.

Retired NBA guard Ron Harper, however, was dismissive of a stat showing that James now has as many playoff wins in his NBA career as the Chicago Bulls do in their franchise history.

Harper, for what it’s worth, seemed to mistake the stat for a comparison between James and Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

Harper then responded to another user on X and said that James knows “how to find me.”

Harper and James notably exchanged barbs in the media this season after Harper — who now has two sons in the NBA — suggested in February that he didn’t force his kids to do anything when it came to basketball, implying that James did. James, of course, has one son in the NBA and another who’s playing in college.

A couple of months after Harper made that remark, James appeared to issue a response.

It’s also worth noting that Harper has been critical of James on numerous other occasions, though he has said that he isn’t “against” the future Hall of Famer.

Harper had a nice career himself in the NBA, winning five championships and getting to be a part of some iconic teams. He won three rings with Jordan’s Bulls before adding two more titles to his collection with the Lakers during the Shaquille O’Neal-Kobe Bryant era.

James is currently stuck on four rings, but he’s doing everything in his power to earn a fifth one right now. With star teammates Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves on the shelf, James has propelled the Lakers to a 3-0 series lead in the first round of the playoffs, putting them in prime position to advance.

Even at the age of 41, the veteran is averaging 25.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game this postseason as he aims to give the Purple and Gold a chance to go on a run.
