The Los Angeles Lakers have been without talented youngster Kyle Kuzma to start out the 2019-20 season, but that absence may soon come to an end.
According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, Kuzma could make his return from injury during the team’s upcoming three-game road trip.
Frank Vogel says it’s a possibility that Kyle Kuzma will make his season debut during the Lakers’ upcoming three-game road trip through Dallas, San Antonio and Chicago.

The Lakers have gotten off to a strong start to the season despite Kuzma’s absence. Following an opening-night loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, they have cruised to easy wins against the Utah Jazz and Charlotte Hornets.
Kuzma’s eventual return will add another fantastic scoring option alongside the Lakers’ two-headed monster made up of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Last season, Kuzma had a very strong sophomore year and averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. While it may take some time for Vogel and the rest of the coaching staff to figure out where Kuzma best fits alongside his two superstar teammates, there’s no doubt that his availability will be a major positive for the team.
James, Davis and company will look to get their third win of the season on Tuesday night versus the Memphis Grizzlies before the Lakers’ upcoming road trip begins.
