According to several sources, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant along with eight others died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on Sunday morning.
In a shocking revelation reported by ABC, it was believed that Bryant’s four daughters were on board with him at the time of the crash.
UPDATE: Several sources confirm that Kobe’s daughter Gianna was on board with him at the time of the crash but the report of his other daughters being on board were unconfirmed. ABC has reneged on their initial report.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but reports say that a fire broke out, and emergency personnel was not able to get to the passengers on time.
Bryant and his daughter are survived by his wife Vanessa Bryant, who was not among those on board.
Kobe Bryant had famously used his own private helicopter for years as he was known for commuting from Newport Beach, Calif. to Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
