LeBron James’ eldest son, LeBron James Jr., has officially started his high school basketball career, and the Los Angeles Lakers star took some time to celebrate the occasion.

The elder James posted to Instagram to share a brief and heartfelt message to his talented son.

A number of celebrities commented on the post and congratulated the youngster including the elder James’ former Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh and Hollywood star Jamie Foxx.

The elder James has stated that one of his career goals is to play alongside his son in the NBA. If the stars align just right, it’s possible that there will one day be two members of the James family playing in Los Angeles.
