LaVar Ball Claims He Has ‘Inside Scoop’ That His Sons Are All Returning to Play Together on Lakers

After staying out of the media limelight for what seemed like a long time, Lavar Ball has started to run his mouth again.

The loquacious and controversial father of former Los Angeles Laker Lonzo Ball recently proclaimed that Lonzo Ball and his two brothers, LaMelo and LiAngelo, will all eventually team up on the Purple and Gold.

Lonzo Ball was originally drafted by the Lakers with the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft amid great fanfare and expectations that he would become a franchise player.

After two injury-riddled seasons, Lonzo Ball was dealt from L.A. to the New Orleans Hornets last summer in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade.

The chief reason why Lonzo Ball was expected by many Laker fans to become a superstar was that his father constantly told the media that he would become better than players such as Stephen Curry, a two-time NBA MVP.

At the moment, LaMelo Ball is being projected by some to be one of the top picks, if not the top pick, in this year’s draft. LiAngelo Ball, meanwhile, declared for the 2018 NBA Draft, but was not selected by any team.

Needless to say, the chances of all three Ball brothers playing for the Lakers are slim to none, especially after the team already pulled the plug on the Lonzo Ball experiment.
