Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown achieved a very rare feat of Monday night when he managed to posterize Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
Following the Celtics’ 139-107 drubbing of the Lakers, Brown made it very clear that he knew exactly what he was doing when he ascended towards the basket.
Brown was a major reason behind Boston’s victory. He finished the night with 20 points, six assists and four rebounds. He was one of three Celtics players to record over 20 points in the game.
Meanwhile, James had a less than stellar night by his standards. He finished the game with 15 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds.
While the Lakers have managed to dominate much of the 2019-20 season, they looked out of sorts for much of Monday night’s game.
Perhaps one reason for that is because James himself augmented his pregame schedule in order to see his son, LeBron James Jr., compete in a high school game.
The elder James and his Lakers teammates will regroup from this blowout before taking the court again on Wednesday against the New York Knicks.
