Frank Vogel Admits He Doesn’t Know Which Lakers Players Tested Positive for Coronavirus

Last month, it was announced that two members of the Los Angeles Lakers had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

That being said, it was never revealed who the players were. In fact, not even Lakers head coach Frank Vogel knows who on his team tested positive for the deadly disease.

“I don’t even know who are they,” he told ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan, “and I’m totally fine with that.”

Vogel’s respect of his players’ privacy is quite impressive. That is especially true considering the fact that it was widely reported news when players on other NBA teams tested positive for the disease.

Luckily, despite the two positive tests, it was reported earlier this week that all Lakers players had completed their 14-day home isolation and are currently symptom-free.

Now, the Lakers can return their focus to basketball. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Lakers plan to start carrying out team workouts via video conferences.

Hopefully, sticking together through this tough time will allow the Lakers to maintain a sense of unity through this difficult time.
