Skip Bayless and his wife react to Sophie Rain almost making as much LeBron

OnlyFans model Sophie Rain said during a conversation with YouTuber David Dobrik not long ago that she made almost as much money as Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James did last year. According to her, she made a whopping $43 million compared to James’ $56 million and $82 million total across the past year and a half.

None other than iconic sports personality Skip Bayless and his wife reacted to the news that Rain is earning almost as much money as arguably the greatest basketball player in the history of the sport.

“Sophie Rain at age 20 says that last year she made $43 million, almost as much as LeBron bleeping James,” Bayless said.

He continued.

“She’s a porno princess,” he said. “She’s the flip side of Taylor Swift, although she’s marketing herself just as skillfully and craftily as Taylor is.”

James is on track to make more than $52 million during the 2025-26 season in what could be his swan song playing for the iconic franchise. The 40-year-old is heading into his eighth season as a Laker, and after he gets a large sum of money for his play in the coming season, he is set to be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2026.

If the coming season will indeed be James’ last as a Laker, hopefully he can cap off his tenure with the team with another championship run. James last led Los Angeles to a championship at the start of the decade all the way back in 2020. Since then, the Lakers haven’t advanced past the Western Conference Finals.

Maybe the Lakers have the talent necessary to win their 18th banner in franchise history next year. Not only does James have an incredibly talented sidekick in guard Luka Doncic and a star-caliber player in Austin Reaves, but the Lakers also went out and added guard Marcus Smart and big man Deandre Ayton in offseason moves.

It would certainly help James’ case as the greatest basketball player ever if he were to lead the Lakers to another ring before the end of his tenure.

James is trailing the likes of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and former Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan in total rings with four. Bryant won five with the Lakers, while Jordan reached the league’s mountaintop on six occasions with Chicago.
