For one last time, James spoke with his former rival and good friend on the night that the two were linked by a milestone accomplishment during the Lakers-Philadelphia 76ers matchup on Saturday.
The fact that James reached the milestone in Bryant’s hometown of Philadelphia made it more memorable.
James passed Bryant for third place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, a feat that was duly acknowledged by the latter in his final Twitter post.
