According to Marc J. Spears of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed in principle to trade rookie Svi Mykhailiuk and a second-round draft pick to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Reggie Bullock.
The trade allows Detroit to create a $2.5 million trade exception, while the Lakers will inherit Bullock’s Bird rights.
Bullock is averaging 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on the season, while going 38.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The Lakers were said to be targeting a 3-point shooter to add to their roster and it seems that Bullock fit the description the team needed.
Still, with all the clamoring about landing a possible superstar (Anthony Davis) before the deadline, this trade could be underwhelming to some Lakers fans.
