Report: Dwight Howard to Sign With Los Angeles Lakers for 2019-20 Season

Signs have been pointing to it all week long, and according to a Friday afternoon report, the Los Angeles Lakers will sign big man Dwight Howard for the upcoming 2019-20 NBA season.

Howard is expected to reach a contract buy-out agreement with the Memphis Grizzlies and will then sign a deal with the Lakers.

Howard will look to fill the void that was left by big man DeMarcus Cousins when he tore his ACL over the summer.

While Howard’s first stint with the Lakers left much to be desired, there is no question that he has the opportunity to redeem himself if he is able to stay healthy and offer productive minutes at the center position.

Only time will tell whether or not that redemption does indeed come.
