NBA stars love driving fancy cars, and former Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young apparently nearly drove his car right into current Lakers big man JaVale McGee’s on Friday.
Young took to Twitter to share the funny, but also quite scary, story about how the two ballers nearly collided on the road.
Though the two players have suited up in the purple and gold, they were actually teammates while on the Golden State Warriors during the 2017-18 season.
Prior to that, Young played for the Lakers for four seasons. In fact, one of the best statistical seasons of his career came while he was playing for the Lakers. In the 2013-14 season, he averaged 17.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
As for McGee, he’s served as a valuable role player so far this season. While his numbers have declined significantly compared to those of last season, his first in L.A., he has started in all 61 games he’s appeared in this season.
Luckily, both players walked away from the near crash with nothing more than a funny story.
