Los Angeles Lakers icon Magic Johnson chimed in on his personal list of top five players who would succeed in Michael Jordan’s era.
The list includes two current Los Angeles Lakers superstars.
Johnson, who competed with Jordan during his prime, selected LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
There has been much comparison between Jordan’s era and today’s game due to the unveiling of “The Last Dance” documentary series.
The 10-part series, which concluded this past Sunday, highlights Jordan’s final season with the Chicago Bulls. In addition, it shows young fans how dominate the six-time champion was and how different the game of basketball was in the 1980s and 1990s.
Yet, it appears Johnson believes James would have no problem playing in older eras. After all, the 6-foot-9, 250-pound beast is one of the most unstoppable athletes the NBA has ever seen.
