The Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James is reportedly under the weather as the highly anticipated Thursday night clash with the Milwaukee Bucks approaches.
James was clearly not at his best on Tuesday night versus the Indiana Pacers.
He didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, going 8-for-20 from the field, and he missed all six attempts from 3-point territory.
With a chance to give the Lakers the lead with only a few seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the 15-time All-Star missed the go-ahead 3-pointer with his team trailing 102-104. Indiana narrowly escaped with a 105-102 victory, snapping the Lakers’ 14-game road winning streak.
The Purple and Gold were missing the services of Kyle Kuzma and Anthony Davis, who are both dealing with ankle injuries.
Despite the team playing with a handicap, the Lakers managed to keep the game close throughout.
Their next game will be on Thursday against the Bucks, who are sporting the same 24-4 record as the Lakers.
