LeBron James Rated Top Player in NBA 2K20 as Player Ratings Are Unveiled

In many ways, the 2018-19 season was a huge disappointment for LeBron James.

After signing with the Los Angeles Lakers the previous summer, James and the team were snake bit with injuries and missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year.

It was also the first time in recent memory that James was not universally considered the best basketball player in the world.

However, the player ratings for NBA 2K20 were leaked today, and the game still has James at the very top with a 97 overall rating.

This is probably sure to spark a heated debate among many basketball fans and avid players of the NBA 2K franchise.

James may not be the clear-cut best player in the NBA anymore, but he’s still firmly in the discussion for that honor.

Even after his groin injury, he gradually got his legs and explosiveness back in February and posted robust averages of 28.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 9.8 assists on 50.3 percent shooting after the All-Star break.

With a full offseason for the first time in over a decade, one can reasonably expect James to look and feel refreshed and spry once the 2019-20 season starts, especially now that he’ll have fellow superstar Anthony Davis and better role players at his side.
