As the NBA slowly but surely prepares for a possible resumption of the 2019-20 season, LeBron James is readying himself for a return to basketball.
He teased about returning to the Los Angeles Lakers’ practice facility on social media.
A week ago on Friday, the NBA allowed teams to start reopening their facilities, albeit with quite a few restrictions.
The Lakers have had to wait to do so, as Los Angeles County has had a “safer at home” order that has lasted until May 15. The nation’s most populous county is slowly and cautiously starting to reopen some businesses and facilities.
Although many details still need to be worked out, a plan for the NBA to return is starting to take shape. Commissioner Adam Silver held a private conference call with players earlier this week, and there’s reportedly growing optimism that games will resume at some point.
In the meantime, James has been working out in his home, and has shared video of his training sessions on social media.
