Los Angeles Lakers four-time MVP LeBron James is severely missing basketball.
During an Instagram Live session on Thursday, James pointed out how much he misses basketball and believes the Lakers were hitting their stride before the playoffs.
The NBA suspended its season for 30 days last week as a result of the novel coronavirus.
Multiple players across the league, including two Lakers, have tested positive for the highly contagious virus.
However, while the decision to put the league on a hiatus is completely needed, it’s particularly unfortunate for the teams that were playing at a high level and getting into playoff rhythm.
The Lakers were one of those squads as they picked up huge wins against the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers the weekend prior to the announcement of the suspension.
Furthermore, James was playing at an unparalleled level. The 35-year-old is averaging 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.9 boards per game this season.
The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference so far this year.
