Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant is celebrating his 41st birthday today. Lakers star LeBron James took to social media to celebrate the five-time champion’s big day.

Bryant spent his entire 20-season career with the Lakers, making a name for himself as one of the greatest shooting guards in league history.

As for James, he is still looking to make his mark in Los Angeles. After one extremely disappointing season last year, he is looking to redeem himself thanks to a retooled roster headlined by star big man Anthony Davis.

While a lot of Lakers fans are still hesitant to fully accept James as their own, it’s things like these that will likely help them warm up to the four-time MVP.

In the end, all James really has to do to become fully beloved by Lakers diehards everywhere is bring another title to L.A.
