The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling as of late. They are now in danger of making the playoffs, even with the addition of superstar LeBron James, as they are now in 11th place in the Western Conference and are a full three games behind the eighth seed.
With that being said, two emerging young stars on the team have been thriving in Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram, and James is certainly taking notice.
Ingram’s February has been especially impressive as he’s putting up 21.1 points per game on 49.6 percent shooting from the field. He’s also shooting a blistering 41.2 percent from 3-point land and 76.4 percent on his free throws, all numbers up from his season averages.
The Lakers are now in a must-win situation as they have just 22 games left on their season schedule and take on an ailing New Orleans Pelicans team on Wednesday night.
Let’s hope their defensive miscues and chemistry issues from their last two games don’t carry over to tonight.
