After over 24 hours of silence, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has finally sent out a message to the recently deceased Kobe Bryant.
After Bryant’s 20 years and five championships in a Lakers uniform, many fans in Los Angeles have been hesitant to shift their allegiance to James.
But it’s clear that the two legends share no ill will toward each other, unlike many of the fans of the two players.
James (33,655) recently passed Bryant (33,643) on the NBA’s all-time scoring list and was congratulated by the latter via a personal phone call on Saturday. Little did James know that would be the last time he would be hearing from his friend and brother off the court.
The NBA has publicly announced that it will be postponing Tuesday night’s matchup between the Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers due to the recent travesty.
Let’s hope James makes good on his promise to take the Lakers once again to the promised land.
