Lamar Odom Tells Lakers to Get Ready for Championship Parade

The Los Angeles Lakers have already been deemed serious contenders to win the title this season, and former star Lamar Odom thinks they should already be preparing for a championship parade.

Following Sunday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks, Odom stopped by the Lakers locker room to offer a positive projection for the season ahead.

So far this season, there’s no doubt that the Lakers have had all the looks of a championship team. Led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it seems as though the Lakers could beat any NBA club in a seven-game series.

Their 24-3 record is currently tied for best in the NBA with the Eastern Conference titan Milwaukee Bucks.

The only thing that could certainly get in the way of the Lakers’ championship pursuit is an injury to either Davis or James. Hopefully, that issue does not arise at any time this season.

As for Odom, he’s certainly had his own ups and downs since leaving the NBA behind. Luckily, it looks like he’s been on the right track as of late.

When it comes to winning championships in L.A., Odom certainly knows what it takes. He was a major contributor in the Lakers’ 2009 NBA Finals win and 2010 NBA Finals win.

Hopefully, his championship prediction will prove to be true by the end of this season.
