According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com, the Los Angeles Lakers will keep point guard Lonzo Ball in the starting lineup as veteran Rajon Rondo returns from his three-game suspension.

Rondo had originally been in the starting lineup, but the team went 0-2 during that stretch, while Ball being in the starting lineup has led to a 2-1 record for the Lakers.

Ball has been averaging 12.7 points on 53.6 percent shooting, 7.3 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game in Rondo’s absence.

Rondo was suspended due to his melee with Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul on Oct. 20. Rondo allegedly spit in Paul’s face, which led to an all-out brawl between both teams.

The Lakers will look to get their third victory in a row as they take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 5:30 pm PT. The last time the Lakers faced off against the Spurs, the game went into overtime, as the Lakers lost the game by a single point, 143-142.
