There’s a possibility that the Los Angeles Lakers will be without one of their superstars on Sunday when they face the Atlanta Hawks.
LeBron James appeared to tweak his elbow late in Los Angeles’ Friday win against the Miami Heat. He appeared to be wincing towards the end of the game as the Lakers wrapped up a come-from-behind 113-110 victory.
So far this season, James has missed nary a game for the Purple and Gold.
Luckily, the Hawks have a very poor 6-20 record, which ties them with the New York Knicks for the worst record in the Eastern Conference. Although Trae Young is having a whale of a season for the Hawks, the Lakers should be able to beat Atlanta even if James is out.
Kyle Kuzma will miss another game on Sunday for L.A. as he continues to deal with a sprained ankle.
At 23-3, the Lakers are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA. Both teams will face off this upcoming Thursday in what could be a preview of the NBA Finals.
